Last week, I drove my husband to Savannah for his surgery. I slipped off for a couple of hours to a wonderful shopping center (Abercorn Walk) located next door to our hotel. How lucky am I. I could not believe it -- all of my favorite stores in one place -- Ann Taylor, White House Black Market, Talbots, Coldwater Creek, Chicos, Kirkland's, and so many more.
I only had about two hours before our fabulous dinner at the Olde Pink House so I had to work fast. First stop was White House, Black Market. I had one specific purchase to make, so I was in and out rather quickly.
Next stop Handpicked -- this is where the trouble started and I lost all track of time. I spent over an hour looking at all of their hand crafted jewelry. I was in earring heaven and the prices were so reasonable ($12 all the way up to $150 for sterling). I could see right away that this store could be addictive. There was one lady in there that had made three purchases that week.

Besides the jewelry, they offer monogramming, gift/bridal registry, gifts for the graduate and accessories. They have a few items online for ordering but the bulk is in the store. Most visible were the earrings and necklaces that lined the walls covering the entire store. I know I walked around it ten times trying to find the perfect pair. The problem for me was there were too many to choose from -- but some how I managed to snag a couple before "running" back to the hotel to catch out taxi to dinner. Unfortunately, I never made it to the other shops.
