I have been a
AAA cardholder for years. I have taken advantage of the services many times and even used it one day when a friend came over and her daughter locked the car with it running. With a quick call to the 800 number provided, AAA sent a locksmith right out to my house and there was no charge to me to have my friends car unlocked.
When my daughter turned 16, she got her first card. I feel more at peace knowing she can call AAA if she cannot get in touch with me or her father. The card is even more important now that she is away at college. You can bet my brother will be getting one this holiday season. He travels all the time and constantly has car problems. This past week while I was home visiting, I had to charge his battery twice with my car. My mind was made up right then that was what he was getting for Christmas.
